On April 30th, HIRTA Helps will hold a volunteer fair at the Winterset Public Library from 4PM to 6PM. During this volunteer fair, we hope to explore the importance of volunteering and hear from members of the community about why they choose to give their time. No matter which organizations you volunteer with, if you have a story about what volunteering means for you, we encourage you to share it.
After our discussion, we'll help connect you with opportunities to get involved. We will introduce the new volunteer hub, HIRTAHelps.org, for Madison County, and our partner agencies will present their organizations and current volunteer opportunities. We will also discuss the national day of service, Good Neighbor America Day, coming up in May.
Following our structured programming, there will be time for questions and an opportunity for you to sign up and get started as a volunteer!
Everyone is welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing you all on the 30th!
