Our vision is that all children have the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop to reach their full potential, and that all parents feel confident, prepared, and supported throughout their parenting journey. Our mission is to support parents and caregivers in building strong, positive relationships with their children—laying the foundation for lifelong health, educational achievement, and future success. Our Parents As Teachers (PAT) program, one of the oldest in Iowa, has been serving families for over 30 years and is recognized as a Blue Ribbon affiliate, reflecting our long-standing commitment to quality and impact in early childhood support.

Short Years Partnership is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families with young children from pregnancy through kindergarten entry. Through programs like Parents As Teachers, child abuse prevention, and our Diaper Bank, we provide parent education, essential resources, and connections to community support—helping families build strong foundations for lifelong health, learning, and success.
